ABOUT DAN
Training to be an architect takes a long time. It took me over 9 years to finally reach my goal of full qualification in 2005. This was almost 20 years ago now and since then I have worked on many interesting and varied schemes. From multi-million-pound projects down to small domestic extensions. Each project is important.
I worked in a large practice in Preston for almost 17 years where I rose through the ranks to become an Associate. I had a brief stint in a Manchester City Centre Practice for over a year before finally taking the plunge into setting up my own Practice in 2018. This was a scary jump, but I have not looked back since.
Outside of architectural life I have been married to my wife for 24 years. We have 2 beautiful daughters and when I am not operating Dad’s taxi duties, I love being outside either walking, biking and, my favourite, skiing. I am keen musician and I play drums and I am currently learning acoustic guitar.
